Description
American Boxwood is a large and formal rounded evergreen boxwood shrub, especially well-suited for hedge plantings due to its considerably denser foliage when compared against similar boxwood cultivars. With its cold hardiness, drought tolerance, fast growth and glossy evergreen foliage, there's very little left to be desired from this shrub. American Boxwoods live most comfortably in USDA Cold Hardiness Zones 5-9 and reach a height of 10 ft. to 12 ft. with a spread of 8 ft. to 10 ft.
