Goldcot apricots are quite large and juicy, with bright golden-yellow skin adorned by red speckles. Goldcot is both self-pollinating and additionally an extremely heavy fruit producer! They contain a classic apricot flavor and are best eaten fresh off the tree. They were developed in Michigan to withstand harsh Midwestern winters and to put on rapid growth through the hot summers, making them an excellent choice of apricot for home orchards all over the country!
